BarBri Tuition Assistance
BarBri offers private tutoring, comparative scores against other Bar Exam tests, essay criticism, online access to lectures, and many other helpful benefits to those looking to begin or just refresh their law careers. The course is formatted almost in a job like setting. It is six to seven weeks long, meeting five or six days of the week. Although this course is definitely something to be considered by those preparing for the bar exam, the tuition and other fees can be quite costly.
BarBri tuition assistance is offered to students specific to each and every scenario. You are eligible to complete the application for BarBri tuition assistance if you graduate in May, have significant interest in law school, express an interest for working in Public Law, student leaders, and of course those with financial need.
To be considered, you must fill out the application, and financial assistance is determined on a first come, first serve basis until all of the available funds are used. The amount given by BarBri tuition assistance varies for each individual student. This amount is only applicable to BarBri Bar Review Course tuition.
To apply, you do not have to be enrolled in BARBRI immediately. However, the BARBRI tuition assistance granted will need to be used in that same year. For example, if the application is submitted in 2014, the assistance will also need to be used in 2014.
The application itself is somewhat lengthy, as you will need to provide all personal information (name, address, etc.), where you currently attend law school, where and when you plan on taking the bar, if you have received any other scholarships, as well as a one page personal essay that may be typed or written.
Make sure that you include all other scholarships received, if you do not disclose all other financial assistance, it might forfeit your application, and reduce or eliminate the amount of BarBri tuition assistance you receive.
The awards granted are specific to each individual course, and those that are considering moving to different states must reapply.
Unfortunately at this time, Alumni Tuition is already discounted, so those enrolled in the Alumni courses are not allowed to apply for BarBri tuition assistance. Also, you must not have a job offer of over $55,000 to be considered eligible.
BarBri is one of the leading law prep work courses and is dedicated and understanding to those wanting to gain more knowledge.
