AXA Achievement Community Scholarships
The AXA achievement foundation provides several scholarship programs. More than $1.3 million a year in scholarships are awarded. The scholarship award is divided into three amounts of $25.000, $10.000, and $2.000. The programs that are offered are included in the AXA achievement scholarship in association with US News and World Report and the AXA Achievement community scholarships. The AXA Achievement Foundation is sponsored by the AXA Foundation which is the philanthropic arm of AXA Equitable, which directs the company’s philanthropic and volunteer activities. AXA Achievement Community Scholarships Program
An AXA achievement scholarship in association with US News and World report provides $670,000 in annual scholarships to young people throughout the nation. The AXA Achievement Community Scholarship is another program that is available to deserving students. This scholarship program brings advice and access to higher education into every community in which AXA has a presence. Every AXA advisors branch office distributes up to twelve $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors who live and attend high school in their area. More than 300 students known as AXA achievers are selected to receive a $2.000 award. Primary consideration is always given to an applicant’s non academic outstanding achievement as described in the online application essays. These scholarships program is closed in 2014. The recipients will be announced in the spring of 2015. To be eligible, the applicant must demonstrate: ambition and drive, respect for self, family and community, ability to succeed in college, and determination to set and reach the goals.
And another eligibility requirement is that the applicant must be a high school senior and a full-time college student. These scholarships are awarded up to $25.000. Even if you do not land the $25.000 prize, you can still bank with this scholarship. The AXA foundation hands out a $10.000 prize to one student from each state, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. While there are no hard and fast rules in terms of GPA requirements of community services hours, all AXA scholars must be ambitious. To apply for the AXA achievement community scholarships, student need to register and create an application online. Then the student needs to prepare the following information to complete the application.
The AXA Achievement Community Scholarships Must Be Used For Education Related Expenses
The application includes a list of work experiences, lists of involvement in school and community activities, current high school cumulative grade point average or GPA on a 4.0 scale, list of involvement in school and community activities, and the details of outstanding achievement. The achievement may be a long-term achievement, an activity or a project that occurred in their school, and in the community. Other extracurricular activities in school and community, work experiences, and the applicant’s academic record over the past four years will be considered when selecting finalist.
The AXA Achievement community scholarships must be used for education related expenses for the first year of undergraduate study and are non renewable. The eligibility requirement for this scholarships must be ambitious and motivated as proven by outstanding achievement in school. Students must also be a current high school senior who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two or four-year college.
