The aim of this scholarship is to encourage the committed talented students to careers in the industry of television.

It is open to:

  • Television majors full-time (have completed 90 credit hours at the time of application at Columbia)
  • Students that already earned 2.5 or higher of accumulative of GPA.
  • Students that can demonstrate outstanding achievement.

Amount of the award:

  • In Fall semester of 2013 the awarded is $4,000

The award will be based on:

  • The process of part of application (interview).
  • Based on Merit.

  1. The scholarship of Edward and Marsha Morris

This scholarship is addressed for continuing undergraduate students. It was established to help in funding tuition and the cost or fee for one outstanding student of senior or junior-level Television who has the potential for television arts creative development in the future and also for the student who can demonstrate the considerable of achievement in the media.

It is open to:

  • Full-time students of Television majors
  • Students who already achieved junior or higher status and complete 24 credit hours at the time of application at Columbia
  • Students that already earned 2.5 or higher of accumulative of GPA.
  • Students who are demonstrate financial need and completed (FAFSA) Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

The award will be based on:

  • The need of financial and academic merit

The amount of award:

  • $3,000 and will be awarded in Spring 2013
