For over 80 years, the Show has been a cornerstone of entertainment and commerce in Houston, boasting the globe’s largest exhibition of livestock, and the World’s ‘Richest Regular-season Rodeo’.

The Show attracts a force of 27,000 dedicated volunteers whom contribute their valued time, talent and resources to help keep the Show going as a premier landmark in the North American Southwest. The Show has also maintained a preeminent role in the community offering young adults and children untold opportunities. Today, approximately 2,000 students located at over 100 different universities and colleges across Texas are utilizing an awarded $30 million in contemporary Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship funds, an example of how the Show continues to forge scarce opportunities.

Houston’s Livestock Show And Rodeo Scholarship Program

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship openings are awarded on a standardized basis that calculates ones academic merit and potential, demonstrated financial need, as well as a willing capacity to lead as a responsible citizen. One must also be a documented US citizen, seeking to or actively enrolled at a university or college within Texas, in order to qualify for a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship.
