The Journal of Nursing Scholarship is the official magazine of Sigma Theta Tau International. The honor society of nursing, STTI began in 1922 when six nurses organized the group at Indiana University’s nursing school. Its main aim is to celebrate nursing and create global excellence through information in nursing leadership, scholarship, and service. STTI has more than 135,000 members in 85 nations.
